Sternreiter BEER DRINKER Black Forest Mechanical Cuckoo Clock #1248, allows you to experience the simplicity of life by a Black Forest barn or cottage. A peaceful scene depicts a typical Black Forest chalet style house with a dog, pine tree and a man in typical Bavarian costume drinking his beer. The clock has wooden hands, bird, and a wooden dial. Animated beer drinker raising his mug to his mouth is a delightful feature of this clock.

The Beer Drinker is hand-made in Germany and VDS Certified. The mechanical brass movement is driven by two weights and time is marked with ticktock of a traditional Black Forest clock hand carved wooden pendulum. The cuckoo call sound is made by two wooden whistles with bellows inside the clock case.
